Day 268 - colonial beauty part III
Finding a place to stay that offers secure parking for the bikes, is affordable and in the best case even has internet usually takes a while. Not so in San Cristóbal. We had heard from other bikers about this awesome place by the name of „Rossco Backpackers Youth Hostel“. Jorge, the owner, is a motorcycle traveller himself and lets everyone who comes on a bike stay the first night for free at this beautiful and very well-kept hostel right in the middle of town. Awesome. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet and thank him personally because he’s on a trip at the moment.
San Cristóbal de las Casas is another beautiful colonial city. But see for yourself…

Tag 268 - Koloniale Schönheit Teil III
Normalerweise dauert es so seine Zeit bis wir eine Unterkunft gefunden haben, wo wir die Bikes sicher parken können, die günstig ist und im besten Falle auch noch Internet hat. Nicht so in San Cristóbal. Wir hatten von anderen Motorradreisenden von dem „Rossco Backpackers Youth Hostel“ gehört. Dessen Besitzer Jorge ist selber Motorradfahrer und lässt jeden, der dort auf zwei Rädern ankommt die erste Nacht umsonst in seinem super gemütlichen und gepflegten Hostel mitten in der Stadt übernachten. Wahnsinn. Leider hatten wir nicht die Gelegenheit ihn persönlich kennenzulernen und uns zu bedanken, da er selber grad auf einer Reise ist.
San Cristóbal de las Casas ist wieder so eine dieser wunderschönen kolonialen Städtchen, aber seht selbst…
